The Pappion
By Osay (over liquor and wine)
Narrow Cobble stone street leads into Club Pappion a long dark café Graced with beautiful women Italian, and French mostly. I sit she sit What would you like to drink handsome I say Rum and Coke She orders We talk You have lovely eyes she says I say how can you tell it’s dark In the corner a woman laughs with three men smiling I ask are you French? She says yes I drink she smiles over liquor and wine and time the night grows long song after song the conversation becomes deeper sex on my mine running out of time 2am lights turn on money gone conversation gone woman gone another night at club Pappion.

Ghetto by Osay..... Ghetto walls, Ghetto calls, Ghetto pain, Ghetto Lane, Ghetto drugs, Ghetto hugs, Ghetto fun, Ghetto guns, Ghetto lies, Ghetto cries, Ghetto Eyes............ Watching our ghetto die!!!!!!!!

Birmingham Sunday...................... Who went to Sunday School that day and never came back home at all but left instead. Their blood upon the wall with splattered flesh and bloodied Sunday dresses torn to shreds by dynamite that China made aeons ago--- Did not know That what China made Before China was ever Red at all Would redden with their blood This Birmingham-on-Sunday wall. Four tiny girls who left their blood upon that wall, In little graves today await The dynamite that might ignite The fuse of centuries of Dragon Kings Whose tomorrow sings a hymn The missionaries never taught chinese In Christian Sunday School To implement the Golden Rule. Four little girls Might be awakened someday soon By songs upon the breeze As yet unfelt among magnolia trees...... Langston Hughes

Pimpin behind bars...by Osay......... Jail has a way of changing you Hard knock life like, Thug passion but not the passion you drink. Wifey comes every Friday and Saturday Sundays are saved you my young girl. Have to have love on the side to keep the commissary right when I’m not feeeling wifey I need a soilder to keep it tight. Youngin puts paper on the books each month and says she can’t wait til I get out to hump that bump. Now Wifey She’s down for me taking care of my eight seeds and still giving me what I need spiritually. She feeds me knowledge to stay strong and says hold on and to get my life right. But youngin brings that fire that love desire like my man Rick James sang. The young boys call it Pimpin I call it surviving Wifey came to see me on Sunday the same day as youngin and my so call pimp game was in jeapardy both came and sat on each side of me wifey, and youngin youngin said hello and wifey stayed silent I said to wifey It’s Sunday Wifey stayed silent youngin said who is this Wifey said do you want her I said in a tru pimp fashion yeah, if that what you want to hear and everything went black wifey went on the attack swinging, kicking , yelling and youngin well she stayed silent. Commissary is running low Wifey is gone youngin lost her job and I’m just pimpin all by myself. Behind bars.
First Born......How do you show the first born that they were the beginning of your new life. Forget about whose wife, first born son, you came out female for all the world to gaze upon. Ready to take your place in life but your not ready yet. Don't let the world trick you into uncertainties and dreams for dreamers that don't alway come true. Believe more in you and your spirit and for the dream designed by you. first born from a love torn me, we, Three.
